Art & Cultural learning programmes are educational programmes with a mix of theoretical and experiential learning to understand the rich culture, people, handicrafts, customs & traditions, occupations and food of the respective country.
The programme will include face to face delivery of sessions for purposes of cultural enrichment, students will also learn what geographical areas speak which languages, get a sense of the nature, music, religion, occupations and historic relevance of the country.
Total Qualification Time (TQT) ranges from 20 to 60 hours of cultural learning experience.
The programme would focus on building skills such as - Emotional intelligence, kindness and helpfulness, interpersonal skills, universal awareness, social responsibility, environmental awareness, global awareness and good citizenship.
This tour would be a joyful programme and would not involve any form of assessment.
Throughout the programme students will have excursions focusing on art & culture, experiencing local handicraft outlets, places of religious relevance etc depending on the duration of the tour. In some cases the students may also get to meet a local family or interact with a group of local students.
For the Indian context this programme also supports NEP 2020 section 22.
Upon returning from the tour all students will receive a certification from Learning Feet for the edu-tour mentioning learning outcomes.
