Language learning travel programmes are truly educational programmes with an objective to improve language proficiency of participants through experiential methods for students to also learn about the cultures of the world and to enrich their global knowledge and mobility according to their own interests and aspirations.
The programme will include face to face delivery of language sessions along with teaching of language by weaving in the cultural aspects of the languages - such as films, theatre, storytelling, poetry, and music - and by drawing connections with various relevant subjects and with real-life experiences. Thus, the teaching of languages will also be based on experiential-learning pedagogy.
Total Qualification Time (TQT) ranges from 20 to 60 hours of certificate course.
The programme will focus on building skill sets such as - Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking & Lexical Resource. Each tour will include an assessment towards the end of the programme along with a local sight seeing / cultural / heritage excursion depending on the duration of the tour.
In some tours, students will also take part in group activities for language expression such as Theatre/Skits/Nukkad Natak/Role Play /Cultural presentation using English Language for the purpose of observation and live practice for project work and assessment.
For the Indian context this programme will also be mapped to the National Education Policy, sections 4.20 and 4.21.
Upon returning from the tour all students will receive a certification from Learning Feet in collaboration with a UK based awarding body mapped to CEFR scale (for English language courses only) for the edu-tour mentioning learning outcomes
